Peaceful affordable hotel, magnificent views, incredible location on an old maze. Location close to town centre / cathedral. Again, not far from a medieval Roman Rite Catholic cathedral. Nice service, very good breakfast.

Had a blast with friends! The location next to the cathedral is unbeatable. We enjoyed hiking nearby trails and even squeezed in some biking. The breakfast was solid, and the room was cozy enough for our stay. Just a heads up, some rooms might feel a bit basic, but they're comfy and clean. Worth it for the price!
I faced some trouble with noise from the street, especially at night. It made sleeping a bit tough, but it's part of being in such a lively area.

The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the cathedral! I appreciated the warm and cozy single room, with a brand new bathroom that felt fresh.

The staff really stood out, especially that young man at reception who made sure I had my room when my car broke down. He was supportive and friendly, really helped ease my stress during a tough time.
It wasn't exactly inexpensive, but the price was still reasonable for the quality.

The hotel had a lovely monastic charm, combining modern amenities with classic architecture. The light and airy guest rooms were both spacious and accessible.
More comfortable seating in the public areas.

The room was simple but comfortable, with a cozy vibe. It had a huge window that offered a fine view of the old town and cathedral. A bit on the basic side, which fit the monastic feel, but I found it clean and modern enough. Just a heads up. The bathrooms are pretty tiny. The bed was comfortable too! Really enjoyed the overall atmosphere.

Staying at Hotellerie Saint Yves was a lovely experience. The room held a charming monastic ambiance and offered a fantastic view of the cathedral. Although street noise disrupted sleep a bit, the hotel's historical significance and ideal location made it worthwhile. Truly a unique find!

Chartres is a real gem! The location is just a hop away from the magnificent cathedral, and I found some fab local bites-like the comforting fare at Cafe Bleu and the charming vibe at Esprit Gourmand. The room was comfy enough for a solid night's sleep, probably warmed by all the history surrounding it.
On the flip side, the wifi setup was a stinker, limited to certain hours which felt ancient. Plus, the breakfast was a letdown for 12 euros-I've had better on a baguette budget! And let's not forget the not-so-cheery receptionist. A smile goes a long way.
